1. Customs Clearance
- Handling all necessary documentation and ensuring full compliance with U.A.E. customs regulations
- Facilitating the smooth and legal clearance of goods through customs
2. Delivery to Residence
- Coordinating transportation from port, terminal, or warehouse to the client’s new home
- Liaising with local movers and logistics partners for timely and secure delivery
3. Unpacking & Basic Setup

- Valid Passport or Emirates ID (copy)
- Valid U.A.E. Residence Permit
- Detailed inventory list of imported goods (original + two English copies)
Customs Regulations Overview – U.A.E.

General Rules
- All shipments entering the U.A.E. are subject to inspection.
- Used personal effects are generally duty-free if accompanied by a valid Residence Permit.
- New items are dutiable, with rates determined by customs officials.

Applicable Duties & Taxes
- New Household Goods: 5%
- Undeclared Items: 5%
- Vehicles: 5%
- Value Added Tax (VAT): 5% applicable on most items
Prohibited Items
The following are strictly forbidden from import into the U.A.E.:
- Weapons, ammunition, counterfeit currency
- Narcotics or drugs without a medical prescription
- Long-range communication devices (e.g., radio transmitters)
- Offensive materials (pornographic, political, or religious content)
- Erotic statues, idols, or figures made of clay, glass, or metal
Importing Motor Vehicles into the U.A.E.
Important Notes:
- Vehicles can only be registered under a valid U.A.E. resident’s name
- Duty applies to all vehicles, whether new or used

- Purchase Invoice + Certificate of Origin
- Passport Copy + U.A.E. Insurance Policy
Importing Pets
MAC World Relocation assists with pet importation, provided the following documentation is in place:

- Valid Health and Vaccination Certificate
- U.A.E. Import Permit
- Vaccination Certificate (issued within the last 12 months but more than 30 days old) Shipper’s Passport copy + valid U.A.E. Residency Permit or Employment Letter
